Movie action hero Jackie Chan has unveiled his own line of upmarket menswear, the JC Collection, at a fashion trade show in Guangzhou, China.

The range, spanning apparel, shoes, watches and bags, has been sourced from design houses in Italy and will bear the Hong Kong actor's JC Collection label.

Kenneth Lai, founder of Hong Kong fashion retailer Theme, has been drafted in by Chan as brand consultant.

"We're looking at south-east Asia, Korea, Taiwan and Japan and then the rest of the world," Lai said of the label's eventual market."
